The Mayflower Hotel has played host to presidential inauguration events from President Calvin Coolidge through President Ronald Regan, cementing our hotel as the place to see and be seen. From balls and galas to the oath of office taken on Monday, January 20th at noon, your stay at The Mayflower during Inauguration is guaranteed to be exactly like nothing else.
White House Historical Association x The Mayflower Pop-Up Shop
The Mayflower has partnered with the White House Historical Association for their first in-person pop-up store offering unique keepsake gifts that honor the rich history of The White House and Washington, DC.
The pop-up shop is currently open Monday – Saturday from 10:00am – 5:00pm; closed on Sunday.
Gifts include selections from the exclusive Alma Thomas Collection, featuring prints, accessories, puzzles and art cards designed with the vibrant, blocky colors of Resurrection, created in 1966 by Alma Thomas, the first Black woman to have a painting in the White House Collection. Also available are a variety of official White House Ornaments.
