A Bespoke Mayflower Experience
When The Mayflower hotel opened its doors in 1925, the first social event took place on March 4th: The Inaugural ball of President Calvin Coolidge. Six thousand guests dined and danced in the Grand Ballroom while raising $40,000 for local charities.
As we enter our 100th anniversary in 2025, The Mayflower is offering the chance of a lifetime for you and your nearest and dearest to recreate the first event held in our Grand Ballroom with your own bespoke event. Whether it is a gala to raise money for your favorite charity, a ball to celebrate a milestone or just a really great party, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the historical grandeur that only The Mayflower can provide.

Inspired by our history of as the home away from home for presidents, heads of state and more, this suite includes a library of books written by some of our famous guests of the past 100 years and many of the décor items that played a role in the hotel’s history.
- A planning session with a member of our expert events team to design the Inaugural ball of your dreams to take place in the legendary Grand Ballroom
