World Pride 2025 in Washington, DC
Since 2000, World Pride has celebrated LGBTQ+ communities across the globe and in 2025, DC plays host to this month-long event with parades, marches, educational opportunities and of course, parties!
World Pride 2025 will be a historic event, marking the 50th anniversary of Pride and we hope you’ll join our downtown DC hotel for all the fun.
The festivities kick off on May 30th, 2025, with the official opening ceremony held in downtown DC, followed by Sports Week.
Sports Week
Running through June 4th, Team DC, the city’s network of LGBTQ+ sports teams and leagues will host a series of sporting events from pickleball to rugby to the IGLA 2025 Swimming Championship.
Global Dance Party
Bring your best dancing shoes to the two-day music festival with multiple stages highlighting multiple genres of music including house, pop and techno. Events will be held near our historic hotel in DC and are within walking distance to many area attractions.
The Pride Parade
DC’s most festive parade takes place on June 7th. The parade route runs down Constitution Ave and through DC’s most vibrant neighborhoods lined with visitors and residents ready to celebrate with all of the floats.
World Pride Festival and Closing Party
From June 7-8th, explore the World Pride Festival and the closing party is sure to be a cannot-miss event! The festival, held on the national mall will have exhibits, food and beverage gardens, local acts and national headliners before the closing party where the torch will be passed to the next city to host this important and colorful event.
